- 1 st place win and best E.T. in the Open category at the first Sept-Iles street drag race
- 2 nd place in the Open category at the second Sept-Iles street drag race
- 3 rd place in the True Street category at the QSCA event in Pont Rouge
- 2 nd place in the Wild Street category at the Canadian Fastest Street Car Shootout at the Grand Bend Motorplex in Ontario
- 3 rd round of the finals in the Semi/Super Pro category at the last race of the season at Pont Rouge
2002 - We completely rebuilt the car from A to Z (see Multimedia) after the 2001 season and worked late into the 2002 season.
- 1 st place win and best E.T. of the annual event in Sept-Iles, even without the new engine.
- Arriving in Sanair for the QSCA event with no tuning done at all, we did two passes and managed to pull off a 10.74 at 125mph without the nitrous. On the third qualifying run I turned the nitrous on and the differential gears decided that they had enough. Half of the ring gear teeth broke right off the starting line. That week-end was a big deception because when we saw the E.T.'s of the other cars in our category, we would probably have won 1st place. This is where we ended the season.
2001 - First year of drag racing as a car owner/driver
- 1 st place win at the Port-Cartier annual drag race
- 5 th place out of 21 cars at the Matane annual drag race
- 3 rd place at the Sept-Iles annual drag race (broken transmission).
- 2 nd round of the finals at the last drag race of the season at Pont Rouge
2000 - Official at the Sept-Iles annual drag race.
1999 - Official at the Sept-Iles annual drag race, the first race in quite a few years where there were no races at all.
1997 - Champion in the Super Stock category at the Moisie Autodrome (last year of racing at Moisie). The sale of all my racing equipment because the track was closing.
1996 - Champion in the Super Stock category at the Moisie Autodrome.
1995 - 4 th in season points in the Super Stock category at the Moisie Autodrome and 1 st in season points when the Californian Autodrome closed down.
1994 - Official/ Mecanic Inspector at the Californian Autodrome, and at the end of the season I became the owner and driver of my first stock car. |
